That foundation shaped a dynamic career as a private chef and caterer for numerous high-profile clients. Her path later took an international turn in Dubai, where she became a TV host blending culinary expertise with lifestyle programming and a popular cooking segment.
Teaching and Mentorship
After returning to Boston, Chef Saba shifted her focus to culinary education, mentoring aspiring chefs and sharing knowledge shaped by years in catering, media, and private dining.
She later worked as a high-end appliance demonstration chef before finding purpose at a nonprofit culinary training school, where she helped empower the next generation of talent.
She is also an induction cooking expert certified by the Building Decarbonization Coalition and works as an independent contractor for the City of Boston on efforts to electrify kitchens across housing developments.
Competition and Entrepreneurship
Chef Saba’s competitive drive has been a defining force in her career. She won Chopped: Martha’s Rules, earning the title of Grand Champion and praise from Martha Stewart that she still carries with pride.
She used the $50,000 prize to purchase her first food truck, launching her entrepreneurial journey. She later became a finalist on Food Network’s Ciao House and most recently claimed another major victory as the Flavortown Food Fight Champion.
The Next Chapter
Chef Saba also serves as an ambassador for Aussie Beef & Lamb, proudly showcasing high-quality, grass-fed, halal lamb in her culinary creations. Her signature style remains rooted in modern Mediterranean cuisine shaped by South Asian heritage and international experience.
Her latest venture is the opening of her brick-and-mortar restaurant in Somerville, Massachusetts, debuting on April 28, 2026. The menu reflects an evolution of the flavors she first introduced through her food truck and catering business.
