Saba invested the winnings into her first small business, a food truck, Kush By Saba, which she ran with
her sister Sara Wahid in Boston, MA for the last 2 years. They served up Modern Mediterranean fare
with global influences, inspired by their South Asian heritage. Some of the mouth watering dishes
included the curry spiced chickpea falafel, harissa brown sugar braised beef, plus the spicy mac and
cheese with lamb merguez crumble to name a few.
Going into their third year of operation, Chef Saba is opening a brick and mortar restaurant with a
plan to launch by Fall 2024. Chef Saba Wahid Duffy is also a culinary instructor at New England
Culinary Arts Training (NECAT) as well as the Bowdoin Street Health Center (Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center) in Boston. Chef Saba’s commitment to education and serving delicious scratch
made food is a passion.
