Going into their second year of operation, Chef Saba would like to grow the concept into a brick and
mortar restaurant someday and potentially expand to multiple locations. Chef Saba Wahid Duffy is
also a culinary instructor at New England Culinary Arts Training (NECAT), Boston. A non-profit
tuition free organization that provides culinary skills to adults who’ve faced life challenges. Upon
completion of the program, the students also receive assistance with job placement in the workforce,
giving them an opportunity to improve their lives. Chef Saba’s commitment to education and serving
delicious scratch made food from the Food Truck is a passion.
Most recently Chef Saba Wahid Duffy participated in Food Network’s first International Cooking
Competition set in Tuscany, Ciao House (April 16 2023-June 4 2023)! This was an eight part series
involving Tuscan centric challenges including wine pairings, truffle, local cheese, wild boar, and
garden fresh produce. Chef Saba made it to the final two, and although she made near perfect
plates of food, she lost by a hair to her Michelin trained competitor.
This is just the beginning of Chef Saba’s culinary journey with so much more to come. She is also
working on her first cookbook, featuring her original Modern Mediterranean cuisine, and hoping to
launch a brick and mortar restaurant in the next year. There may also be more media projects
underway, stay in touch through all her social media channels!
